About Dr. Trey Jones
Dr. Trey Jones is a radiation oncologist at the San Antonio Cancer Center. He creates customized treatment plans for patients with all types of cancers.
Dr. Jones received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He then stayed at UTSA to complete an internship in Pediatrics and a residency in Radiation Oncology. During his residency, he had the distinction of being the Chief Resident in Radiation Oncology. After his residency, he spent time as an Assistant Professor at UTSA.
Until recently, Dr. Jones was the Division Chief of Radiation Oncology for South Texas Veteran’s Health Care System. He now brings his expertise to San Antonio Cancer Center.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also spends time bicycling (he raced and finished the Leadville 100!), flying single-engine airplanes, restoring automobiles, and SCUBA diving.
